In 1995, Mr. Stein began broadcasting “Your Estate Matters”, a weekly radio program that was the only radio show in New Mexico with an emphasis on estate planning.

Beginning in 2007, the shows name was changed to “The Stuart Stein Show” and the focus of the show became more general.  The show currently airs on Soft Favorites 1550 AM located at 1550 on the AM dial from 7:00-8:00 a.m. Mountain Time every Saturday morning. It is available on the internet at SoftFavorites1550.com.

Over the years Mr. Stein has had guests with expertise in many areas. Government leaders from sitting governors and Members of Congress to state legislative leaders. Tax experts including former Assistant Secretaries of the Treasury, tax law professors, accountants and representatives from the Internal Revenue Service have been Mr. Stein’s guests for the hour.

Some of the most memorable shows have been with authors who have written topical books of interest to those approaching or already in the last third of their lives. This leads to informative discussions with questions involving medical issues, financial choices, interpersonal relationships, families, growing older, getting healthier, and end of life concerns.

The long format of the show also allows Mr. Stein to give listeners his weekly update on tax and senior issues while reserving enough time for guests to discuss their topics in depth.
